The beauty of the slow cooker is the choice of how long to cook the pork. I prefer low and slow, but the pulled pork can be cooked on high if time is an issue
- High: 4-5hrs
- Low: 8-9hrs
If you check the pork and it shreds easily with a fork, dinner is ready. If not, continue cooking and check tenderness occasionally. Once it is cooker, most slow cookers have a “warm” setting, where the pork can be kept warm until ready to serve.
