Ok. If you have not used Amazon subscribe and save, you are missing out on a life-changing opportunity. I will shout it from the rooftops that this program has simplified my life and made shopping easier. This post should answer all of your questions so you know what is Amazon subscribe and save.

Full disclaimer here, the only complaint that I have is that my dogs are full-fledged buttholes and vehemently dislike the delivery driver. They make sure to wake me up while I am trying to sleep after a night shift and let me know that they are protecting the house. Whatever.

What is Amazon Subscribe and Save

So exactly what is Amazon subscribe and save? The subscribe and save program is an exclusive benefit for Amazon Prime members. Select Amazon items are available for automatic deliver at a specified interval. So if you want to have laundry detergent delivered every three months, you don’t have to remember ever again.

You can choose to have items delivered monthly (like dog food) up to every six months (Gatorade). Like all prime items, you receive free shipping.

Now here is the BEST part. You automatically receive a 5% discount when you add an item to your subscribe and save list. When you have five or more eligible subscribe and save items that month, the discount is 15%. Awesome right?

How to Cancel Subscribe and Save

One you have items added to your subscribe and save, expect to receive an email from Amazon about a week and a half before your delivery date. This will list all items that you have shipping that month, their current price and if there is a price change from he previous shipment. This will also let you know the cutoff date to cancel and item and when the payment will process for the order.
